MOME Media Design Success on OTDK
Zsófia Nemesi, a MOME Media Design MA student, reached the second place in the ‘Art Theory 2’ section of this year’s National Scientific Conference of Students (OTDK - Országos Tudományos Diákköri Konferencia). The title of her essay, written in English, is Canonising Playfulness: Promoted, Permitted and Prohibited Modes of Play in the K-pop Game, her assisting teacher was Natália Fábics, teacher of the Media Institute.
Three MOME students qualified for the national competition in the ‘Arts and Art History’ section of the 35th National Scientific Conference of Students held this year.
The assessment of Zsófi’s essay highlighted that ‘the author outlines a very comprehensive and accurately defined background to be able to understand a completely contemporary phenomenon, i.e. the behaviour of K-Pop fans’.
